Mount
Moriah is only one of many historic cemeteries where our KIDD ancestors
are buried...
...But it is where all of us KIDDs who descend from Lewis & Sarah
trace our heritage to. Also, two family heads of the children of Lewis
& Sarah, Randolph and Edmond, are buried here as well.
Mt. Moriah Cemetery, on Singleton Station Road in Louisville, is the resting place for many direct descendants of 18th-century settlers to the wilderness of Eastern Tennessee. We are looking to include any other families who may find they are part of this story too.
The
KIDDs listed here are among those whose graves and names could be recovered/restored
in the last restoration effort that began in 2005. Each name is listed
per date of death and linked to genealogical data on the FindaGrave
website.
